Booking information
Yes, ArlBerglife is dog-friendly. There are extensive meadows, shady walking paths and clear streams right from the property. Upon request, we are happy to provide dog towels. Please let us know about your four-legged friends when booking.
You can book your accommodation – studio, lodge or apartment – directly via our online booking system on the ArlBerglife website.
Direct booking generally offers you the best price, as there are no agency fees and you automatically benefit from our exclusive offers and packages.
Yes, you can book your overnight stay package with or without breakfast. Breakfast can also be added for individual days only. Alternatively, we offer a bread delivery service.
Free cancellation is available up to 60 days before arrival.
In this case, we reserve the right to deduct an administration fee of €20 from the deposit, if applicable.
If the deposit was paid by credit card, the credit card company's payment fee may also be withheld.
Alternatively, the deposit can, upon request, be converted into a value voucher or the booking can be postponed to a different date up to 60 days before arrival.
For cancellations made between 60 and 14 days before arrival, 50 % of the package price will be charged.
For cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival, 90 % of the package price will be charged.
In the event of a no-show, late arrival or early departure, 100 % of the package price will be charged.
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out is by 09:30.
Free parking spaces for standard vehicles up to 5 m in length are available. Parking spaces for larger vehicles and trailers are available on request.
We accept cash, debit card, Visa, Mastercard and bank transfer.
Yes, we recommend taking out travel cancellation and interruption insurance, for example through Europäische Reiseversicherung.
Winter holiday at the Arlberg
The free ski bus runs every 15 minutes in the morning directly to the Arlberg ski resort in St. Anton am Arlberg. The Pettneu Garnen stop (Line 7) is only about a 3-minute walk from our resort.
The ski bus stops in St. Anton at the Galzig and Rendl cable car station as well as at the Nassereinbahn (Terminal West & Ost). The journey time to the first stop, Terminal Ost Nassereinbahn, is approximately 10 minutes, and to the second stop, Terminal West Galzig and Rendl cable car station, around 13 minutes.
Until mid-December and from mid-April, the ski bus runs only hourly.
Those wishing to go to Lech or Zürs can take route 760 from St. Anton. However, the best way is to ski there directly, as the entire Arlberg ski area is interconnected.
The last ski bus to Pettneu leaves at around 18:30. After that, regular scheduled buses and night buses are available, which are subject to a charge.
You can purchase the ski pass directly at our reception. Payment can be made by credit card or in cash. The deposit for the card is €5 and must be paid in cash.
As a guest of ArlBerglife, you will receive a ticket for a free ski depot right by the lift stations.
Skis, ski boots or snowboards can be stored free of charge at our partner Sport Alber directly at the lift station. You have the choice between the branch at the Galzigbahn or the Nassereinbahn.
Additionally, we have a large ski storage room in the building.
We recommend hiring from Sport Alber in St. Anton am Arlberg or from Sport Matt in Pettneu.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the region offers numerous other winter activities.
You can enjoy winter walks or snowshoe hikes on picturesque paths, cross-country skiing on perfectly groomed tracks, or tobogganing on family-friendly runs.
For the adventurous, there are guided winter tours and varied nature experiences right on the doorstep.
In winter, Pettneu turns into a little paradise for children.
Right on the doorstep, numerous classic winter activities await to ensure unforgettable holiday moments. Whether building a snowman, having a snowball fight, sledging or making tracks together in the fresh snow – there is something new to discover every day here.
The snowy landscape invites you to play, romp around and marvel. Children can make snow angels, build small snow castles or experience the wintry nature on a walk.
For little winter sports fans, the nearby pistes and practice slopes are also ideal for gaining their first experiences in the snow.

Summer holiday at the Arlberg
The region offers a wide range of activities.
You can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, climbing, trail running, Nordic walking and yoga.
Families can experience guided alpine pasture walks as well as nature and adventure programmes, while relaxation-seekers can enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains.
Guided walks are included free of charge as part of the St Anton Premium guest card.
With the premium guest card you benefit from free mountain railways, guided hikes, swimming facilities, leisure activities, museum visits and children's programmes, and much more.
It is valid for the duration of your stay and allows you to explore the entire region in a relaxed way. For all guests in our studios, apartments and lodges, the Premium Guest Card is included free of charge from June to September. Our campsite guests can purchase the Premium Guest Card for a small additional fee if required.

In the summer, children can look forward to a real adventure in nature around Pettneu.
The meadows, forests and mountains surrounding our accommodation offer plenty of space for playing, exploring and romping around in the fresh air. Whether hiking with the whole family, on leisurely walks or along exciting adventure trails – there is something new to experience here every day.
Even young cycling fans will get their money's worth. The surrounding area invites you to take bike rides and excursions through the magnificent mountain landscape.
When playing in blooming meadows, collecting stones by the stream or observing animals on the alpine pastures, children can experience nature up close.
With the premium guest card, you can use the regional mountain railways free of charge.
This allows you to comfortably reach hiking trails, peaks, viewing platforms and bike trails at no extra cost.
Open in the summer are, among others: Galzigbahn and Vallugabahn, Gampenbahn, Kapallbahn and Rendlbahn. Changes and deviations in opening hours are reserved.
Yes, there are bike hire shops, tour services and parking facilities in the region.
Location, travel & getting around locally
The ArlBerglife holiday resort is situated in a sunny south-facing location on the outskirts of Pettneu am Arlberg. Here you can enjoy a tranquil location away from the hustle and bustle of St. Anton while still being quickly right in the middle of the action.
The centre of Pettneu can be reached on foot in less than five minutes. There you will find restaurants, a supermarket, a sports shop, a cake shop and a cosy pub.
You can reach St. Anton am Arlberg by bus in less than 10 minutes. The Pettneu Garnen bus stop is only about a three-minute walk from our resort.
You can also get to St. Anton quickly by car.
You can reach Lech and Zürs in about 30 minutes by car. In winter, Lech and Zürs can also be reached on skis or via the cable cars through the Arlberg ski resort.
Ischgl is about a 30 to 40-minute drive from Pettneu am Arlberg.
Yes, our resort has good transport links to the public network. The bus stop is only about a three-minute walk away.
Public transport provides access to destinations including St. Anton am Arlberg, Landeck, Lech and Zürs.
Yes. In winter, the ski bus takes you to St. Anton am Arlberg free of charge.
The Pettneu Garnen bus stop (Line 7) is only about a three-minute walk from the resort. Depending on your destination, the journey to St. Anton takes about 10–13 minutes. The ski bus takes you to the main base stations in St. Anton: Nassereinbahn – Terminal East: approx. 10 minutes; Galzigbahn / Rendlbahn – Terminal West: approx. 13 minutes. During the peak season, the ski bus runs regularly. In the early and late seasons – until mid-December and from mid-April onwards – it runs roughly every hour.
Winter: The last ski bus to Pettneu runs in the early evening, at around 18:30. After that, you can use the regular scheduled bus or the route 270 night bus. The Pettneu Kapelle stop is located near the resort. These services require a fare.
Summer: Unfortunately, no night bus is available in the summer, but taxi services operate.
The route 760 bus goes to Lech and Zürs. The service runs all year round, roughly every hour.
You can comfortably use public transport in summer too.
The route and hiking bus 270 takes you to St. Anton am Arlberg and towards Landeck, among other places. Depending on the route and time of day, the buses run roughly every 40–60 minutes.
In summer, there is no night bus to and from St Anton.
From the direction of Munich, Kufstein, Innsbruck or Landeck:
Follow the S16 Arlberg Schnellstraße and take the Flirsch exit after the Strengen tunnel. Then follow the Panoramastraße Arlberg to Pettneu.
From the direction of Lindau or Bregenz:
Drive through the Arlberg Tunnel. After the toll station, leave the S16 at the St. Anton am Arlberg / Arlbergpass exit and drive via the Arlberg panoramic road (B316) to Pettneu.
From the Arlberg Pass:
Stay on the Arlberg panoramic road (B316) and follow it until Pettneu.
Turn off at the fire station in Pettneu. This is clearly visible from the Panoramastraße.
Then follow the gently sloping access road for about 100 metres – and you will reach our resort.

Yes. Travelling by train is a comfortable and sustainable way to begin your holiday at the Arlberg.
The nearest major railway station is St. Anton am Arlberg station. It is located right in the town centre of St. Anton and is an important station on the Arlberg Railway.
Among others, international Railjet, EuroCity, InterCity and Nightjet trains stop there.
St. Anton am Arlberg is connected to the international rail network. Among others, there are connections from and towards Vienna, Zurich, Hamburg and Amsterdam.
Buses run regularly from St. Anton am Arlberg station to Pettneu am Arlberg. This means you can easily continue your journey to our resort even without your own car.
Yes. There is an ÖBB Rail&Drive location at St. Anton am Arlberg railway station.
This allows you to flexibly use a vehicle for your onward journey or for trips if needed after your arrival.
For travel to ArlBerglife, several airports are suitable: Innsbruck, Zurich, Munich, Memmingen
From the airports, you can continue your journey to us by public transport or by taxi or transfer.
For the journey from the airport to the holiday resort, we recommend local taxi and transfer services.
Alternatively, you can also travel onwards by train from Innsbruck, Zurich and Munich and get to Pettneu via St. Anton am Arlberg station.
